Kintra Boat Tours Policies and Terms

You must be at the boat on the outer pier (off Bayview Road, adjacent to the Rathlin Island Ferry) no later than 15 minutes before sailing. You will then be given instructions as to when, and how to board. Please listen carefully follow instructions to ensure you board the correct vessel as multiple companies and vessels use the same boarding point. If for any reason, we have to cancel your trip we will refund your ticket in full to your original form of payment.

Contact us by email at kintraboats@gmail.com to transfer or inquire about a transfer. Transfers can be requested with more than 24 hours notice and must contain the booking reference and details of the trip you wish to be transferred to. Please note that if a party request a transfer more than once an administration fee of £5 will apply per booking. This will be payable prior to departure.

Please act responsibly on our vessels and follow our safety procedures. Children must not be allowed to climb on the sides of the boat and must be under parental/guardian supervision at all times. Our trips are not recommended for children under the age of 1 years old or women who are pregnant.


Dogs are more than welcome onboard but they must remain on a lead.

Any belongings brought onto our trips are the responsibility of the owner and we can not be held accountable for breakages or lost/stolen items. Advanced bookings are required. Please use our website for booking.

We will be sailing with reduced numbers due to Covid. We ask that everybody wears an appropriate face mask/covering when boarding and getting off the boat. We do not have face masks available to purchase and recommend you bring your own. A one-way system will be in place for boarding and alighting the boats. Please listen carefully to the directions and instructions given by our skippers and colleagues.

All of our vessels have wheelchair access for slim wheelchairs onto a flush deck. Please let us know if you require wheelchair access so we can be prepared to assist you while boarding.

If you have reduced mobility, please make sure you have somebody from your own household or social bubble to assist you whilst onboard.

Please do not book or sail with us if you or your family, or anybody you may have been in contact with have displayed any symptoms of the Coronavirus. We do not accept any responsibility for any subsequent infections of any passengers.

Safe access is provided for the embarkation and disembarkation on our trips but we can not be held accountable for any actions where due caution and restraint has not been undertaken. For wheelchair access or access with mobility issues please contact us prior to your trip.

COVID -19 During this time we are operating with restricted numbers. Face coverings/masks should be worn. while boarding, alighting or coming into close contact with someone outside your bubble. Do not sail if you or your family are showing any symptoms of Covid 19. We cannot accept responsibility for any subsequent Covid - 19 infections.
