Tour round Rathlin island departing from Ballycastle outer harbour, depending on tide times we will head East or West of Rathlin island to start the circumnavigation of this stunning unspoilt island landscape. Sailing past the towering cliffs and sea stacks hosting the hundreds of thousand sea birds who visit the island to nest and raise their chicks in the summer months.
The three lighthouses making for stunning viewing perched on the extremities of the island, Bull point West Lighthouse built half way down the cliff, Altacarry head to the East towering 74metres above the sea and Rue point on the southern point of the island.
The unspoilt wilderness of the North side of the island only viewable from the sea, cliffs, caves abound in what is one of the most unspoilt landscapes in the world. You can encounter the magical Puffins, razorbill, gullimot, fulmar, tern, skua, kittiwake, common gull, diving Gannet’s. Seals, propoise, dolphin, whales and basking sharks on our trips.
This trip lasts approximately 3 hours.
