The Harbour

Ballycastle (from irish: Baile an Chaistil, meaning "town of the castle") is a small seaside town in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is on the North-Easternmost coastal tip of Ireland, in the Antrim Coast and Glens Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Directions to the Harbour

By car, Ballycastle is approximately 1 hour drive north of Belfast. Translink buses run a service between Belfast, Ballymena and Coleraine. For more information please refer to the Translink website.

Car Parking

There are plenty of well sign posted public car park spaces in Ballycastle but it does get very busy! Car parking is available at the harbour beside the tourist information centre.

Facilities

Ballycastle is a busy village with plenty of choice when it comes to shopping. There are lots of pubs, fish and chip shops, cafes and a bakery all serving great quality refreshments. Cash Points/ATMs are available on the main street.

Public toilets are situated near the main car parks and tourist information centre (as well as on our boat).
