Where do we depart?

We depart from the outer pier at Ballycastle. This is situated on the pontoon behind the Rathlin ferry.

How many passangers are onboard?

We are licensed by the Marine and Coastguard Agency for 55 passengers on Kintra and 82 passengers on Kintra II.

Is there a toilet on board?

Yes

Is the boat suitable for prams/buggies?

Yes, depending on tour. please see individual tours for more information.

Are your tours suitable for children?

Yes, our boat is very safe for children. The sides of the boat are approximately 1.5m high from the deck. Please see individual tours for more information.

Can I take a dog on board?

Yes, dogs can be taken on our tours but must remain on a lead.

Do you stop on Rathlin island?

Currently we do not stop on Rathlin island, all our tours start and finish in Ballycastle

Do you offer private charters?

Yes, we can do private charters outside normal tour times.

Do you have tours where people can swim?

No, due to safety and manning reasons we do not allow swimming on our tours.

What happens if a tour is cancelled due to bad weather?

If the tour is cancelled due to bad weather a full refund or transfer to another trip of the same value will be offered.

Are there lifejackets on board?

We are fully licensed by the Marine and Coastguard Agency as a ship and as such lifejackets are stored on board for every individual. They are not worn during the trip and are available in case of an emergency. The sides of the boat are approx 1.5m in height, with an additional rail.
