Under the bridge, not over it

The famous rope bridge the way tourists never see it: from the water, looking up, with the old salmon fishery cottage tucked in beneath it. Our shortest and easiest sailing, along the prettiest stretch of coast in Northern Ireland.

A castle on a chalk headland


Halfway along the run, Kinbane Castle appears on its white chalk headland: a McDonnell stronghold built in 1547, watching the sound ever since. The chalk cliffs, sea stacks and hidden bays rise right beside the boat, and the crew's stories of the coast go with them.

Made for the whole family


Grandparents to wee ones: a comfy seat, no cliff path, no queue for the bridge. This one is about the scenery, so anything with fins or feathers is a bonus. The odd seal, dolphins if you're lucky, and once in a while even a stray puffin. It has happened.

Want the wilder side?

Carrick is the scenery run. For the wildlife, sail the other way out of the harbour: two hours with the seals and the lighthouses on Rathlin Sound, or the full island day with a whole hour ashore.
