You've walked across the famous rope bridge. Have you ever sailed under it? This is our Causeway Coast sightseeing cruise: an easy hour and a half along the prettiest stretch of coast in Northern Ireland, with a comfy seat and the cliffs rising right beside you.
What you'll sail past
– The Causeway Coast up close: chalk cliffs, sea stacks and hidden bays right beside the boat
– Kinbane Castle, the 1547 McDonnell stronghold on its white chalk headland
– The famous Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge from below, and the old salmon fishery cottage
– Sea caves, the Giant's Cut, Smugglers' Cave and the Mermaid's Waterfall
Keep an eye out
– Nesting seabirds on the chalk cliffs in spring and summer
– Dolphins, the most likely visitors on this stretch (never guaranteed)
– The odd seal, and once in a while even a stray puffin (it has happened)
– This one is about the scenery. Anything with fins or feathers is a bonus
Good to know
