Discover the wild side of Rathlin Island, Northern Ireland's only inhabited offshore island: cliffs, caves and lighthouses from the sea, then a whole hour ashore on the island itself.


On the water


– From Ballycastle harbour along Rathlin's rugged Atlantic coastline


– Towering seabird cliffs, hidden sea caves and remote lighthouses


– Live commentary from our local crew the whole way


Wildlife you may see


– Puffins on the cliffs and the water (April to mid-August)


– Guillemots, razorbills and kittiwakes on the nesting cliffs


– Seals basking on the rocks


– Dolphins and porpoises along the route (never guaranteed)


– Now and then a minke whale surfaces (rare and never promised, but it happens)


Your hour ashore at Church Bay


– Visit the Boathouse Visitor Centre


– Wander the harbour and village


– Coffee or a bite at the Manor House or McCuaig's (not included)

– Layers and flat shoes recommended


– Toilets onboard and on Rathlin


– We can't promise wildlife, but the crew will always help you look
